About this seal

Polish law no longer requires companies to have a stamp for dealings with offices such as ZUS or the tax authority, but pieczątki remain deeply rooted in business practice: counterparties, banks and public institutions still commonly expect “pieczątka i podpis”. A typical header stamp shows the full name with its legal form (sp. z o.o., S.A., sp.j.), the registered address with the 00-000 postcode, the 10-digit NIP tax number and the 9-digit REGON statistical number, sometimes with the KRS number.

Common uses

  • Invoices, delivery notes and warehouse documents
  • Contracts and forms asking for “pieczątka i podpis”
  • Certificates and statements issued by the company
  • Correspondence with banks and public institutions

How to create it

  1. Open the template — the rectangular header-stamp layout is pre-applied.
  2. Replace PRZYKŁAD SP. Z O.O. with your full company name and legal form.
  3. Edit the street and the postcode and town line.
  4. Enter your NIP and REGON — add a KRS line if you want one.
  5. Export a transparent PNG, SVG or PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Is a company stamp required in Poland?

Not as a general legal requirement. It is still standard practice, and many counterparties ask for it next to a signature, so most Polish businesses keep one.

What goes on a pieczątka firmowa?

The company name with its legal form, the address, the NIP and REGON numbers. Many stamps add the KRS number, a phone number or an e-mail address.

What is the difference between NIP, REGON and KRS?

NIP is the 10-digit tax identification number, REGON the 9-digit statistical number, and KRS the 10-digit entry number in the National Court Register, used by registered companies.

Legal & usage

Stamps render in your browser for design and demonstration. A stamp has no legal effect without the signature of an authorised representative, and it must only show the NIP, REGON and details of a business you represent.
