Signature Generator — Draw, Type or Upload Your Signature

Build a clean digital signature three ways: draw it by hand, type your name in a cursive font, or upload a photo of your paper signature. Download a transparent PNG, or send it straight to the PDF stamping tool to sign and seal a document together.

What is an online signature generator?

An online signature generator lets you produce a personal signature image without pen and paper — by drawing it with a mouse, finger or stylus, typing your name in a handwriting-style font, or digitizing a signature you already wrote on paper. The result is a transparent PNG you can drop into documents, forms, emails and PDFs. It is a convenience tool for document layout and personal use — it is not the same as a certificate-backed electronic signature service, and does not by itself make a document legally binding.

Types of signatures you can create

Hand-drawn signature

Drawn freehand with a mouse, trackpad or touchscreen — the most natural-looking option and closest to a real pen signature.

Typed cursive signature

Your name rendered in a handwriting-style font — fast, consistent, and easy to regenerate if you change the wording.

Digitized paper signature

A photo or scan of a real ink signature, cleaned up and converted into a transparent PNG.

Simple electronic signature (SES)

A basic mark of intent — such as a typed or drawn image like the ones this tool creates — used for low-risk, everyday documents.

Advanced / qualified electronic signature (AES/QES)

A legally regulated signature backed by an identity certificate, created through a compliant e-signature provider — not something an image generator can produce.

Frequently asked questions

Is a signature made with this tool legally binding?

Not by itself. This tool creates a signature image for document layout, drafts, previews and everyday personal use. For a legally binding electronic signature — one that meets ESIGN, eIDAS or similar requirements — use a compliant e-signature service that provides identity verification and an audit trail.

Does this tool upload my signature or documents?

No. Drawing, typing, image cleanup and PDF placement all happen locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server.

What file format do I get?

A cropped, transparent PNG — ready to paste into a document, image editor, or the PDF stamping tool without a white background getting in the way.

Can I use my signature and a seal on the same PDF?

Yes. Send your signature to the PDF stamping tool, upload or create a seal there too, and place both independently — that combination is the whole point of the sign-and-stamp workflow.

Can I turn a photo of my real signature into a digital one?

Yes — use the Upload mode. It detects the ink strokes on plain paper and removes the background automatically, the same cleanup engine used by the paper stamp digitizer.

Reminder: this tool produces a signature image for document layout, drafts and lawful personal use. It does not verify identity and is not a substitute for a compliant electronic-signature service where a legally binding signature is required.
