About this seal

VERIFIED records that someone checked a document against its source — an invoice against the delivery note, an ID against the application, figures against the ledger. The name-and-date lines matter more than the word: they record who took responsibility for the check.

Common uses

  • Invoice matching in accounts payable
  • Identity and document checks in onboarding
  • Data verification before entry
  • Quality and compliance checks

How to create it

  1. Open the template — the green rectangular box stamp reading “VERIFIED” is pre-applied.
  2. Edit the fill-in lines under the word, or type the date, initials or reference before exporting.
  3. Change the colour if your office uses a different convention — green is the usual choice for this stamp.
  4. Download a transparent PNG (or SVG with Pro).
  5. Place it on a PDF or Word file with the document stamp tools, or print it on labels.

Frequently asked questions

Is VERIFIED the same as certified?

No. VERIFIED is an internal record that a check happened. Certification is a formal statement by an authorised person, often with legal consequences.

Why add a “By” line?

A verification without a name cannot be followed up. The line turns the stamp into a small audit record.

Legal & usage

An office stamp is a status marking, not a signature, certification or official classification. Use it on documents you are entitled to annotate, and do not use it to misrepresent a document's status to others.
