About this seal

COMPLETED marks a task, work order or request as finished, usually with the completion date. It is the last stamp in many paper workflows — service tickets, maintenance logs, onboarding checklists — and lets anyone see at a glance which files are closed.

Common uses

  • Work orders and maintenance tickets
  • Onboarding and offboarding checklists
  • Customer requests and returns
  • Project task sheets

How to create it

  1. Open the template — the green rectangular box stamp reading “COMPLETED” is pre-applied.
  2. Edit the fill-in lines under the word, or type the date, initials or reference before exporting.
  3. Change the colour if your office uses a different convention — green is the usual choice for this stamp.
  4. Download a transparent PNG (or SVG with Pro).
  5. Place it on a PDF or Word file with the document stamp tools, or print it on labels.

Frequently asked questions

Should COMPLETED include a signature line?

Where accountability matters, yes — add “By: ____” so the person who closed the task is recorded.

What is the difference between COMPLETED and APPROVED?

COMPLETED says the work is done; APPROVED says someone with authority accepted it. Some processes need both.

Legal & usage

An office stamp is a status marking, not a signature, certification or official classification. Use it on documents you are entitled to annotate, and do not use it to misrepresent a document's status to others.
