About this seal
ACCEPTED records that a delivery, quotation, bid or submission has been taken on by the receiving party. Goods-in teams stamp it on delivery notes; contractors and buyers stamp it on quotations and change orders to show agreement at a glance, usually with a signature line beside it.
Common uses
- Delivery notes at goods-in
- Accepted quotations and change orders
- Submittals returned to contractors
- Applications and entries received for processing
How to create it
- Open the template — the green rectangular box stamp reading “ACCEPTED” is pre-applied.
- Edit the fill-in lines under the word, or type the date, initials or reference before exporting.
- Change the colour if your office uses a different convention — green is the usual choice for this stamp.
- Download a transparent PNG (or SVG with Pro).
- Place it on a PDF or Word file with the document stamp tools, or print it on labels.
Frequently asked questions
Does an ACCEPTED stamp form a contract?
The stamp is a marking; whether acceptance is legally binding depends on the signature, the authority of the signer and the terms. Treat the stamp as evidence, not as the agreement itself.
What about partial acceptance?
Add a line such as “Accepted with exceptions: ____” so the stamp does not overstate what was agreed.
Legal & usage
An office stamp is a status marking, not a signature, certification or official classification. Use it on documents you are entitled to annotate, and do not use it to misrepresent a document's status to others.
