About this seal

The company seal is the most authoritative seal a Chinese company owns. It is round, stamped in red, and legally binds the company on contracts, official letters and government filings. A typical design follows GA 241-2000 conventions: a Ø40mm circle, a five-point star at the center, the full registered company name arched across the top in FangSong type, and a 13-digit security code along the bottom arc.

Common uses

  • Signing contracts, agreements and letters of intent
  • Stamping official company letters and certificates
  • Government filings, bank account opening and licensing
  • Authorizing internal documents and approvals

How to create it

  1. Open the template in the editor — the round gongzhang layout is pre-applied.
  2. Replace the sample name with your full registered company name.
  3. Adjust the size to Ø40mm (the GA 241 standard) and keep the central star.
  4. Optionally add the 13-digit anti-counterfeit code along the bottom.
  5. Export as a transparent PNG or vector SVG to drop into documents.

Frequently asked questions

What size should a Chinese company seal be?

The GA 241-2000 standard is a round seal about 40mm in diameter. The editor lets you set the size in millimeters at 300 DPI so the export is print-accurate.

What font is used on a company seal?

Official seals traditionally use FangSong (仿宋). The editor defaults to a FangSong stack and also offers Song, Kai and seal-script fonts.

Is the generated seal legally valid?

No. These images are for design and demonstration. A legally registered seal must be carved and filed through the Public Security Bureau by an authorized maker.
